What is GeoVenture? It is the MBGA's annual family friendly group camping Geocaching weekend. This is the 9th year and it celebrates the MBGA's 10th anniversary. There are 6 different events, listed below, that Geocachers can attend. As we get them published, each will get more details.
Why attend? Purely for fun.

Manitoba Geocachers: Did you know that there are more Saskatchewan geocachers coming to the Mega event in July than Manitoba cachers? More Alberta cachers as well. We finally have a Mega in the province it would be nice to have locals come out and do Manitoba proud. Mega's are not the type of event that you don't log a "Will Attend" and show up. It's common courtesy to (at minimum) log a "Will Attend" and get a free registration from the event website (outside of gc.com). Don't make this a last minute decision. Here's their fb page: Country Legends
Hi everyone! We are discussing our Birthday Cake situation for the AGM on May 3rd. Currently, we only have a handful of 'Will Attends' which means we can only order a small cake. If you are planning to attend, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you log your 'Will Attend'. Otherwise, we will only have enough cake for the number of people who have RSVP'd.
Think of 'Will Attend' as something that is just as important to event planners as if you were RSVPing to a wedding. You wouldn't RSVP to the wedding couple the morning they are to be wed.
HAVE RSVP? You'll have cake!
